UNIC works closely with the Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics (CING) in the field of biomedical sciences. The partnership has a strong focus on research, as well as activities relating to academic programmes (teaching, international student recruitment, and common student and faculty services), particularly as relates to CING’s Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine.

Students who arrive to Larnaca before the bus pickup time(s) can choose to wait for the bus to take them to Nicosia free of charge. All enrolled students will receive the bus pickup information a few months prior to the start of the study abroad program.
If students do not make the bus pickup, there are alternative means of transport from Larnaca to Nicosia (not free of charge), such as taxis or an airport shuttle. Larnaca airport is located about one hour by car from the program base in Nicosia.
