There are many ways to approach study abroad and many different styles of study abroad programs.
Our approach is built around focused themes that integrate academics and co-curricular activities and having a support platform that allows students to maximize their time learning about and experiencing the countries that they live in.
Our summer study abroad programs are structured around an academic theme that falls within our areas of speciality. Our semester programs give students unprecedented access to hundreds of courses in English in nearly any topic, from social sciences to STEM.
We pride ourselves on making topics that are either highly relevant and timely (the Globalization of Business, Energy Security and Geopolitics, the European Union) or that focus on an underserved area in study abroad (Pre-Med, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Engineering) accessible to students.
We think this interest in overall program design leads to richer, more interesting programs.
Our management team has been at the forefront of operational best practices for years, both in the study abroad field, higher education in general and risk and operational management.
We are members of NAFSA and the Forum for Education Abroad and in both organizations have focused our efforts on best practices, serving on the Standards Committee of the Forum and as Lead Trainers in the NAFSA Academy.

University of Nicosia Global Semesters offers scholarships to students who submit their program confirmation deposit early!

* If your home institution has a direct billing agreement with GS, these scholarships and discounts may not apply, or may have different deadlines. Please consult your GS advisor for more details.
Airfare to Florence
Airfare from the United States (New York) to Florence can range between $850 and $1,300, depending on the season and how far in advance the ticket was purchased. Connecting flights from other cities in the United States can add between $0 and $400 to this cost. We encourage students to finalize travel arrangements as early as possible to avoid high airfares.
Airport Pickup
UNGS will arrange to pick up students on the arrival date for the program. Students who arrive in Florence before the designated arrival date are responsible for arranging their own transportation and housing. All enrolled students will receive the pickup information prior to the start of the study abroad program.
